General Office - Filing, copying, basic computer data entry, stuffing and labeling envelopes, answering phones, etc. Must have ability to take direction and complete a project. Contact KBA

Janitorial Assistance - Painting, Spring clean-up of grounds, plow show/shovel walks in winter, plant/weed flowers, and electrical work. Must have previous experience in any of above areas. Contact KBA

Braille Transcribers - Transcribing Braille materials. Must have knowledge of Braille. Contact KBA

Preschool Vision Screeners - Screening preschoolers in Mercer & Crawford counties for amblyopia (lazy eye). No medical or technical background is necessary. Must be able to relate to children, to sit for several hours at a time, and to walk stairs. Prefer volunteers who can provide own transportation. Contact KBA

Readers - Reading/recording specific articles of the daily newspaper onto a tape and reading printed material onto cassettes. Contact KBA

Talking Newspaper - KBA is currently seeking volunteer readers for the NEW KBA Talking Newspaper. Readers can read from home at their own convenience. For more information, please call 347-5501 ext. 221 and ask for Lois. Must have good reading skills. Contact KBA

Drivers - Transportation of clients to the grocery store, medical appointments, support group meetings, educational seminars and social functions. Must have valid driver's license, good driving record, and access to a dependable vehicle. KBA will train in sighted guide technique. Contact KBA

Visual Acuity & Glaucoma Screeners - Assisting staff at community screenings. Must relate well with the public. KBA will train in screening procedure.Contact KBA

Health Fair Volunteers - Distributing brochures and information, assisting with screening forms. Must relate well with the public and have good reading and writing skills. Contact KBA
Golf Scramble - Early June at Greenville Country Club - put together a team, solicit sponsors, distribute posters, be a "hole watcher," serve on the committee. Contact KBA
Red Cross Blood Drives - Twice a year - distribute fliers, work in the canteen. Contact KBA

Keystone Blind Association collects used eyeglasses all year long for the Lions International Gift of Sight program. The Lions take these glasses and distribute them to people in 3rd world countries who need glasses.
