Bowling
Saturday, March 10, 2001

On March 10, six Keystone Kids learned more about the game of bowling. The pins were bigger and heavier than we thought they would be. Dawn Vakasy, Mohaned Sayegh, Mark Eicher, Tyrone Lites, Kristen White and Jonathan Hearn had great fun bowling, eating snacks and hanging out with friends. Thanks to Anna and Dick Craig, Tony and Kimberly Paglia, Audry and Roger Hearn and Valerie Taylor for their help. Thanks also to Thorton Lanes for the bumpers, discounts and support of our program. Jonathan Hearn received the Keystone Kids award for "Most Enthusiastic Keystone Kid" because he has been at every activity for the whole year. He was the first and only participant when we went bowling last year. CONGRATULATIONS to Jonathan and thanks for your eager participation!

Keystone Kids is a group for children who have visual impairments. The skills taught during our activities are critically important for the future success of any student with a visual loss. Our next activity will be bowling and snacks on Saturday, March 10. Call Kimberly Paglia at 347-5501 for more information on how to join or help.
