Foiled Again
Play with aluminum foil. You can:
- Paint on it (the clear paint recipe in the recipe section works really well).
- Crinkle it up and pull it apart again.
- Make a ball and roll it back and forth.
- Wrap a treat up in it, so your child has to unwrap it (great for long trips or waits).
- Make hats out of it.
- Wrap potatoes in it and bake them for supper.
- Wrap it around one body part and see if your child can pull it off.
- Put it on the floor and walk on it. Let your child lay on it if he's not walking yet -- when he moves, it will make a neat noise.
- Tear it into small pieces and glue it on paper.
- Shine lights on it.
Senses used: proprioceptive, kinesthetic, haptic, vestibular, touch, hearing, vision
